Well folks, just when you thought Hulk Hogan has been through enough drama, he isn’t. Just as the joint parties of the National Enquirer and Radar Online has promised, they revealed part two of Hogan’s racial rant, and I have to say it’s just too much. The man is already fired from WWE, we won’t appear in WWE 2K16, and he is taken down from WWE 2K15 as well. From the looks of things, it’s gonna be a long road of redemption for the Hulkster.
I mean, with all the negativity from the media (Which includes CBS Sports Radio and the two publications mentioned here), I feel that enough is enough about the guy. I don’t care if he’s making a fool of himself on social media, don’t go all out on the man for it. Let’s face it, Hulk really didn’t deserved to be fired nor should he be crucified by the media for those comments he made. There is a lot of support from those who refuse to judge a man due to those nasty comments going back nearly eight years. In fact I don’t know why we here at The Barbwire Blog can’t celebrate his wrestling legacy while criticizing his past. Heck, he’s still on the Barbwire Blog Hall of Fame since 2012. I’m not the one to cast the first stone, but enough is enough about Hulk Hogan. The best thing he could do right now is just stay of the grid for a while because social media isn’t as forgiving. I know it’s not a good idea, but it’s the only way to get back on everyone’s good graces. If not, those hacks will bring out more juicy material. And we don’t want that.
If he wants time to himself to reflect about this issue, he has every right, but we can’t force a guy to do something he doesn’t feel like doing at the moment. He apologized and that’s all we need to know. So to those who are willing to crucify Hulk Hogan for these statements, enough is enough.
